SarvaVidhyalyaKelavani Mandal, Kadi was established in 1919 by the social reformer and patron of education venerable Shri ChhaganlalPitambardas Patel, popularly known as 'Chhaganbha'. Initially, it was established as the hostel for students. " Do good, Good will be done to you (KarBhalaHogaBhala)" was the guiding spirit of the college. From last 100 years – since its inception, this trust has revolutionized the society by continuously providing very effective education.Committed to the cause of service for the nation, this trust has expanded its scopeup to Gandhinagar, as per the need of the time. The trust, since 1993, has added many colleges at Kadi and Gandhinagar campuses by the "Dynamic and Devoted Chairman Shri Maneklal M Patel, popularly known as 'Saheb'” and one of these colleges, NPCCSM was established in the year 2000 at KADI campus. The secretaries of the Mandal and others are also devoting their valuable time for the growth of the college.
In its remarkable history of nurturing educational colleges, the SVKM trust has in last couple of years paved a new way by establishing professional and higher education colleges.Considering the need to provide excellence leading to evolve its own work culture and identity, this college is established as the stand alone environment. This may not be cost- effective. However, it is envisioned that this college must grow to its full potential. In the matters of dynamics of designed changes in curriculum, responsiveness to changes in professional practice and reaching out for strong industry-college interaction, such college needs internal autonomy in the first instance. The Trust is committed to provide full support for this purpose. The role of the Trust is that of the facilitator. The responsibility of college building and growth is on the shoulders of the Faculty and Students. Their collective commitment, devotion and integrity will be essential and always needed. Eventually, it will be for the students to put this college on the national map. I wish this slightly arduous task is accomplished with the first batch itself shining out. To conclude, I would express my sentiment about the senior most students of the campus who kept up the spirit of Late Shri Chhaganbha who used to cite the Proverb "KarBhala, HogaBhala" and are continuously setting higher standards of performance discipline to be admired.
